It depends on what your business actually needs. Template Foundations start at $300 and are a great fit for businesses just getting started. Foundation websites for service businesses start at $800. E-commerce starts at $1,700 for a custom store, or less if a template works for you. Custom builds with advanced functionality start at $3,500. Every project is scoped honestly so you only pay for what you need.
Do I own my website after it is built?
Yes. Every Rootline website is handed over to you with full ownership of your files, your domain, and your hosting. There are no ongoing fees owed to me. Ever. Your site belongs to you.
Do you charge monthly fees?
No. I don't charge monthly fees or retainers. If you choose to add easy editing to your site, that tool might have its own small cost, but it lives in your account - not mine. Beyond that, what you pay for the build is what you pay.
How long does it take to build a website?
Template sites typically launch within one to two weeks once I have your content. Foundation websites run two to three weeks. Custom builds are scoped individually and I will give you a clear timeline before we start. I work with clients everywhere remotely, so there are no delays waiting on in-person meetings.
Can I update my website myself after launch?
It depends on what we're building. For the Essential Start, I'll bill by the hour for any changes you need. For Custom Foundations and Online Shops, we can add a simple editing tool so you can handle updates yourself. Custom Solutions always include it.
Do you work with businesses outside Colorado Springs?
